“You should refrain to look at yourself in the mirror everyday. Because if you do, you will never be able to acknowledge your evolution”.
He could not remember the last time he had glanced at his reflection in the glass, so he did. He felt mixed feelings. The blurry image raised questions about his destination. It made him think that the unavoidable is everywhere, yet we cannot help but marching towards it. Hands in our pockets and headphones on, hardly calm we traverse this ever changing present. Unaware of where we’re headed, but perfectly knowing that every beginning leads to an end. No guarantees, no real purpose, no clear view of the big picture. But still keeping hope alive.
“It’s a shame that a mirror cannot reflect how I feel inside.”
“Well, maybe music can”.
