Rick Nizzy’s debut album (TSTR002, 2019) is a Techno/Electro/House 4 tracks EP. As the intention of Taste is to explore different musical genres, in this EP you can listen to different style influences. From the title track “We are not made of sugar” (A1), a down tempo opening with an electro progressive ending, to “Barabba Timeless” (A2). Barabba starts with an ambient feeling and then became the straightest techno musical number in the album, with harmonica’s incursions and a prominent bass lead. On the other side, “You break my habit” (B1) is a techno beat starring a powerful house & soul vocal, dressed up with harp solos. The journey ends with the experienced remix of the title track from Metropolitan Soul Museum (MSM), for a slow techno party (B2).

The title of the EP is a translation from a Bosnian proverb: everything around you can collapse, but we are not made of sugar. We are resilient, and we prefer to dive in space with music rather than everything
